World Book Day 2019: What we’re reading

Today is World Book Day – a day to celebrate the joy of books and reading.

Now, as we’re not dressing up as our favourite book character, in celebration of the ultimate day for bookworms, we thought we’d share with you what the M-People are currently reading!

Cathy: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy by John Le Carre

Kat: I’m not reading anything at the moment… But I read to my kids every night and I really enjoy reading Fairy Tales and Fantastic Stories by Terry Jones.

Mark: Low and Slow: How to Cook Meat by Neil Rankin

Jo: The Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson

Esme: A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway

Shahlia: Attack of the 50ft Women by Catherine Mayer – my new year’s resolution was to read more non-fiction and it’s basically a book about gender equality and why it is so vital for an effective society. I’m also reading The Ice Monster by David Walliams to my daughter!

Simon: Washington Black by Esi Edugyan

Tom: Untold History of the United States by Oliver Stone and Peter Kuznik

Laneisha:  Thrive by Ariana Huffington
