OCS outsourced its PR function to Magenta in 2012, with a key priority of shifting the perception of the business as a single service provider to demonstrate that the business is an industry leader in the provision of a broad range of soft and hard facilities services, under the banner of TFM.

As well as promoting the business to its key target audiences, through the publication of company news and articles in the trade and sector press, Magenta has written successful award entries for the BIFM Awards and leading catering, cleaning and security industry awards. It has established key OCS staff as experts in their field and raised the bar for the company as a must-ask business for journalists seeking industry opinion.

Magenta has supported the business through the process of taking part in several documentary series for national TV, secured national broadsheet media coverage for the company and has helped to put OCS on the platform in strategic campaigns to raise the status of the FM industry, such as the publication and the launch event for the third raft of the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) strategic case studies.

It is of vital importance to protect the brand reputation of a successful organisation, and Magenta is responsible for providing the first point of contact for the media and for managing crisis media relations for OCS.

Each year, the organisation holds the OCS Young Sports Person Awards at City Hall in London, where young athletes from across the UK are recognised for their sporting achievements and Magenta is particularly proud to promote this event to the trade and regional media.
