Do you want free fruit for your office for a month?

One of Magenta’s clients is looking to conduct some research into the benefits of having free fruit in offices. We’re looking for a London-based office with at least 200 staff who would be willing to host this research for a month.

FFO_seasonal_basketOver the course of a month, our client would supply baskets of free fruit to people within your office, two-to-three times a week. In return, we would send out a short e-questionnaire of seven questions before the survey and a similar survey afterwards, and would run a small comms campaign around the research – why we’re doing it, what’s involved for staff etc. There would be a prize-draw incentive for people to fill out the questionnaire. The fruit would all be provided for free, in return for our client being able to survey the staff and use the results afterwards mentioning your organisation’s name.

If this sounds like something you’d like to be involved with, please contact Cathy Hayward on cathy.hayward@magentaassociates.co.uk

Cathy Hayward to walk Mendip Way with Catch 22

IMG_0074Magenta’s MD Cathy Hayward is taking part in this year’s Catch 22 charity challenge to walk the Mendip Way – a 50 mile footpath across the Mendip Hills from Weston-super-Mare to Frome.  Taking place on the first May Bank Holiday, Cathy, and her 10-year old son Jude, will walk the route to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign. They aim to raise £1,000 for this worthwhile cause. Please support their challenge by donating on their JustGiving page.

Cathy and Jude will join more than 50 other people, the majority of whom work in the facilities management sector. They will tackle the 50 miles over three days: Uphill to Cheddar (place rather than cheese) on 3rd May;  Cheddar to Wells on the 4th; and Wells to Frome on the Sunday before heading back to Brighton on the Monday. The Catch 22 charity challenge is held every other year since 1997 and has raised more than £200,000 for its three charities: Breast Cancer Campaign, Scope and The Lord’s Taverners.
